Nuggets forward Wilson Chandler dunked over Clippers forward Matt Barnes in transition during a Thursday night game at the Pepsi Center.
With the Clippers leading 43-40 and a little more than four minutes remaining in the second quarter, Ty Lawson stripped Grant Hill on a drive and pushed the ball up the court, finding Andre Iguodala streaking to the corner. Chandler ran hard down the middle of the court and received a pass back from Iguodala just inside the free throw line, immediately lifting off as Barnes attempted to block his shot from the weakside. Pulling the ball back over his head with both hands, Chandler hung in the air as Barnes sailed by before finishing the two-handed dunk with authority. The Nuggets' bench predictably lost its collective mind.
Denver went on to win 107-92 to improve to 41-22 on the season and 27-3 at home. L.A. fell to 44-20. Chandler finished with 12 points and five assists. Ty Lawon led the Nuggets with a game-high 21 points and 11 assists. Matt Barnes led the Clippers with 19 points.
