Shoving match between Nate Robinson, C.J. Watson carries into scorer's table

Bulls guard Nate Robinson and Nets guard C.J. Watson got into a shoving match that carried into the scorer's table during the second quarter of Game 4 of an Eastern Conference first-round playoff series at the United Center on Saturday.

With a little more than seven minutes remaining in the second quarter and the Bulls leading 44-38, Robinson and Watson exchanged a few bumps near midcourt as the Nets initiated an offensive possession. Robinson was called for a defensive foul as he reached in looking for a steal, and the two players remained entangled as they walked towards the sideline scorer's table. Robinson then appeared to shove Watson into the table before a referee and multiple other players looked to intervene and separate the two players.

Robinson and Watson received double technical fouls during the exchange.

An exciting game that looked like a sure Brooklyn victory turned in the fourth quarter when Robinson exploded for a 12-point run all by himself. The 28-year-old guard, in his first season with the Bulls, wound up finishing with a game-high 34 points (on 14-for-23 shooting), four assists and two steals in 29 minutes to help Chicago prevail 142-134 in triple-overtime.

Chicago, the Eastern Conference's No. 5 seed, now holds a 3-1 series lead over Brooklyn, the No. 4 seed. Game 5 is set for Monday at the Barclays Center.
