Before joining the Nuggets in 2010, D'Alessandro worked for the Warriors from 2004-2008, serving as director of basketball operations and assistant GM. His career has also included time working in politics and as a sports agent.
Former Pacers executives Larry Bird and David Morway, former Clippers executive Mike Dunleavy, former Warriors executive Chris Mullin, Grizzlies executive Chris Wallace and TNT commentator Kenny Smith were among the names linked to the open Kings GM position in recent reports by USA Today Sports and CBSSports.com.
