The Warriors unveiled Friday a new white, sleeved alternate jersey that will be worn during the upcoming 2013-14 season.
Golden State's latest look joins the yellow, sleeved alternate jersey that the franchise introduced last season. The Warriors were the first team to partner with Adidas to wear sleeved jerseys during games.
The white sleeved jersey includes the team's Bay Bridge logo and the player's number in gold within a blue circle on the chest. The words "Golden State" appear above the circle and "Warriors" appears below the circle in block, blue letters. The neckline has a blue and gold trim and the Adidas logo appears in blue on the right shoulder. The player's last name and number appear on the back of the jersey like normal.
Stephen Curry, David Lee and company will wear the white, sleeved alternate jerseys during Saturday home games throughout the season. Here's when the jerseys will be worn along with some additional details on the jerseys from a Warriors.com release.
- November 2, 2013 vs. the Sacramento Kings
- November 16, 2013 vs. the Utah Jazz
- November 23, 2013 vs. the Portland Trail Blazers
- December 21, 2013 vs. the Los Angeles Lakers
- February 22, 2014 vs. the Brooklyn Nets
- March 22, 2014 vs. the San Antonio Spurs
The short sleeve alternate uniforms are the team’s lightest uniform to date and feature the super lightweight stretch woven short with maximum ventilation for player comfort. The jersey includes armhole insets with 360-degree stretch fabric that facilitates free range of motion for the arms and shoulders for maximum movement in all phases of the game, on par with that of a traditional tank basketball jersey.
Below, take a look at some detail images of the new jersey design.
