Bulls guard Derrick Rose took to the United Center court for the first time during the 2013 preseason on Wednesday, and he didn't disappoint the home crowd.
With the clock ticking down in the second quarter of a game against the Pistons, Rose worked one-on-one against rookie guard Peyton Siva. The 2011 MVP worked himself free with a flurry of crossover dribbles, turning Siva around backwards, before banking in a leaning runner in the paint. The basket went through with just 1.8 seconds remaining before halftime, giving Chicago a 52-34 lead, and Rose was awarded a free throw for his efforts. Not bad for a guy working himself back from knee surgery after a 17-month layoff.
Chicago entered the game with a 3-0 record on the preseason.
