Nick Young absolutely bricked a 360 degree spinning lay-up during the Lakers' 106-94 home loss to the Raptors on Friday.

With the Raptors leading 82-75 with a little more than nine minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, Young received the ball in the right corner from Jodie Meeks. Attacking along the baseline, Young took two dribbles before launching into his 360 spin move that carried him around Jonas Valanciunas and towards the far side of the hoop.

As he began his descent, Young flung up a one-handed scoop shot that flew high above the rim and hit off the very top of the backboard. The shot, which prompted chuckles from the Lakers' broadcasting team, then ricocheted into the middle of the paint for a defensive rebound.

"I do that all the time," Young said afterwards, according to BleacherReport.com. "I did it, I was kind of stuck, and he hit my arm, which is why the ball went over the rim."

This really stretched that old cliche "A $100 dollar move and a 10 cent finish" to its outer limits, but let's not overlook the fact that Young's self-assessment is correct. He does miss lay-ups badly and executes 360 spin moves on a regular basis.

Here's one of Young's lowlights from a March 2012 game between Washington and L.A. Then a member of the Wizards, Young completely lost the ball as he glided in for an uncontested lay-up.

If you're looking for more productive fare, the Washington Post once ran a poll asking readers to vote on Young's best 360 spin play.

Young finished with a team-high 19 points (on 7-for-16 shooting), three rebounds and two assists in 30 minutes.

L.A. fell to 10-10 on the season with the loss; Toronto improved to 7-12 with the win. Video via YouTuber user firstandskol | Bottom video via YouTube user thehoopscene
