Gallery: NBA's Christmas Day sneakers
Christmas Day is a prime showcase for both the NBA and the major sneaker companies, and the league's biggest names rocked all sorts of special edition footwear during Wednesday's quintuple-header.
LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Dwight Howard, Dwyane Wade, Chris Paul and a host of All-Stars delivered the goods on the sneakerhead holiday, even if big names like Kobe Bryant, Derrick Rose and Carmelo Anthony were watching from the sideline due to injury.
This year, there was a bit of a twist: the NBA came out with striped socks in the team's colors to offer an even livelier option for more adventurous players. Here's Durant modeling both his signature "KD VI" Nike sneakers and the striped socks.
Below, find a gallery of sneakers that were worn on Christmas Day: 25 players from all 10 teams that competed on the holiday are included. Shoes by Jordan Brand, Nike, Adidas, Under Armour, Reebok, Li-Ning, Peak and New Balance all make an appearance.
