Video: LeBron James takes exception to flagrant foul by Mirza Teletovic

Heat forward LeBron James took exception to a flagrant foul by Nets forward Mirza Teletovic during Brooklyn's 104-95 double overtime victory at the Barclays Center on Friday.

With a little less than nine minutes remaining in the fourth quarter and the Nets leading 80-77, James pushed the ball up in transition. As he approached the three-point line, James used his left arm to clear Andrei Kirilenko off of him, and the whistle blew for an offensive foul. As James's momentum continued into the paint, Teletovic wrapped his arms around James's head in a half-horsecollar before quickly pulling them back because the play was dead.

James immediately reacted with anger, as did Norris Cole. Michael Beasley pulled James away from a chest-to-chest confrontation with Teletovic, as the Nets forward simply laughed in response.

The referees reviewed the sequence and assessed a flagrant foul 1 to Teletovic, a designation that applies to contact that is deemed "unnecessary." James was also given the offensive foul for clearing away Kirilenko, although the Russian forward might have earned a flop warning for his flailing reaction, which appeared inconsistent with the level of contact delivered by James's push off.

This was a grumpy night all around for James, who fouled out on another offensive foul with just 36 seconds remaining in the first overtime.

After Paul Pierce missed potential game-winning shots at the end of regulation and overtime, the Nets pulled away from the James-less Heat in the second overtime period. Miami took the court without Dwyane Wade (rest) and Mario Chalmers (Achilles) on Friday.

James finished with a game-high 36 points (on 12-for-21 shooting), seven rebounds and five assists. Cole added 18 points (on 8-for-14 shooting) and seven assists in a losing effort.

Joe Johnson led the Nets with a team-high 32 points (on 14-for-25 shooting), five assists and four rebounds. He scored 22 points in the first quarter. Pierce added 23 points (on 7-for-17 shooting), five rebounds and three assists for Brooklyn.

The Nets improved to 15-21 with the win. The Heat dropped to 27-10 with the loss.
