Video: Rockets' Patrick Beverley dunks on Heat's Chris Bosh

Rockets guard Patrick Beverley beat LeBron James with a crossover before throwing down a poster dunk over Chris Bosh during Houston's 113-104 road loss to the Heat on Sunday.

With just seconds remaining before halftime, Beverley took the ball coast to coast in search of one final offensive possession for Houston. As he approached the three-point line, he caught James over-playing his right hand in anticipation of a screen from Dwight Howard, so he used a right-to-left crossover dribble to get into the paint.

Once there, Beverley opted to lift off over the top of Bosh, who tried to contest the shot from the weakside. The 6-foot-1 Beverley finished directly over the 6-foot-10 Bosh, and he was able to squeeze the dunk in past a helping Chris Andersen, too.

Here's another baseline look from the NBA on Instagram.

Beverley's slam cut Miami's halftime lead to three points, but the Heat pulled away late in the fourth quarter to snap a two-game losing streak. James led the way with 24 points (on 8-for-17 shooting), five rebounds and five assists. Wade added 24 points (on 10-for-15 shooting), seven assists and three rebounds in the win.

James Harden led the Rockets with a game-high 30 points (on 7-for-16 shooting) and three rebounds. Beverley tallied 15 points (on 5-for-14 shooting), five assists and four steals, while Dwight Howard added 21 points (on 9-for-12 shooting), 14 rebounds and five assists in a losing effort.

The Rockets dropped to 44-22 with their third straight loss. The Heat improved to 45-19 with the win.
