Report: Four teams interested in trading for Texans' Andre Johnson
Four teams have expressed interest in trading for Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson, who remains in a dispute with the team, reports Ian Rapoport of NFL.com.
Johnson, who skipped the early portion of the Texans' offseason workouts and has requested a trade, recently told NFL Network that he's not sure if he will be suiting up this season for the team with which he has spent his entire 11-year career. Rapoport reports that part of the divide between Johnson and Houston is a dispute over a $1 million workout bonus.
The receiver reportedly wanted to be able to attend extra sessions in order to make up for the ones he missed and still receive the bonus money, but the team told him no. That didn't sit well with Johnson, who turns 33 on Friday.
That furthered the divide between Johnson and the Texans, driving a wedge between the parties. That caused Johnson to tell them he wanted to play for another team. He is now working out, "not thinking about the Texans," a source said.
Despite the interest by other teams, the Texans have so far been unwilling to trade the veteran.

In 2013, Johnson caught 109 passes for 1,407 yards and five touchdowns for Houston, who finished the year 2-14.
