After another early playoff exit for the Cincinnati Bengals, led by third-year quarterback Andy Dalton, the team had a relatively quiet offseason, as is normally the case under coach Marvin Lewis.
The Bengals again elected not to pursue any major free agents and let several of their own walk, including offensive tackle Anthony Collins and defensive end Michael Johnson, who both went to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Cincinnati's only big-name acquisitions came in the draft, where notable picks included first-round selection Darqueze Dennard and Alabama quarterback A.J. McCarron. All told, the Bengals received a grade of C-minus in SI's offseason report card, but still enter training camp expected to be a strong playoff contender.
