The Pittsburgh Steelers missed the playoffs for the second straight season last year -- their longest drought since 1998-2000 -- as the team continues to try and retool around an aging core group of players.

For the second straight offseason, the Steelers were forced to say goodbye to a sizable group of veterans for salary cap reasons, including linebacker LaMarr Woodley, safety Ryan Clark, defensive end Brett Keisel and receiver Emmanuel Sanders.

Pittsburgh added Ohio State linebacker Ryan Shazier in the first round of the draft, and the team's signings include running back LaGarrette Blount and receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey.

Pittsburgh earned a C-minus grade in SI's offseason report card.
