The Cleveland Browns organization announced Wednesday it signed its first-round NFL draft selection, former Oklahoma St. cornerback Justin Gilbert.

Gilbert's contract, a standard rookie four-year deal with a fifth-year team option, is worth $12.8 million in guaranteed money, according to CBS Sports. Spotrac's Michael Ginnitti reports Gilbert's signing bonus was worth $7.85 million

Browns head coach Mike Pettine said Gilbert has every opportunity to win the No. 2 cornerback position opposite Joe Haden.

Gilbert might have been Cleveland's highest pick in the 2014 draft, but it wasn't its most noteworthy. Last month, former Texas A&M quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel signed with the Browns.

With Gilbert's signing, the only remaining first-round pick without a contract in place as of Wednesday was Tennessee's Taylor Lewan.
