Jets place Willie Colon and Antwan Barnes on PUP list
The New York Jetsplaced guard Willie Colon and linebacker Antwan Barnes on the physically unable to perform list on Wednesday, the same day they agreed to sign defensive end Jason Babin to a two-year contract.
The Jets also announced the release of cornerback Lowell Rose.
Colon is still recovering from a torn biceps injury that he suffered in December, as well as from knee surgery that he had in May. Barnes suffered a knee injury in October that ended his 2013 season.

The moves came on the day veteran players reported for Jets training camp.
