Roddy White, Falcons agree to four-year contract extension
The Atlanta Falcons and wide receiver Roddy White have agreed to a four-year contract extension, the team announced Wednesday.
Terms of the deal weren't disclosed, but according to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the contract is worth $30 million, including $18 million over the next two seasons.
White, 32, was entering the last year of his contract but is now signed through the 2017 season. Last season he had 711 receiving yards and three touchdowns, his lowest totals since 2006. From 2007 to 2012, White had at least 1,100 yards and six touchdowns each season.
White's receiving teammate Julio Jones was cleared for training camp on Wednesday after missing some of last season with a broken foot.
Atlanta finished 4-12 a year ago and drafted Texas A&M offensive tackle Jake Matthews with the No. 6 pick in the 2014 NFL draft.
