Add Dee Milliner to the list of self-described best cornerbacks in the league.

The Jets are counting on him to be their No. 1 cornerback this year, but after being drafted No. 9 only a year ago, Milliner said in a report on Saturday from Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News that he believes that he is the best at his position in the entire NFL -- not the likes of Darrelle Revis, Richard Sherman or Patrick Peterson:

“I’m not going to say somebody that plays the same position is better than me. Don’t care if they’ve been in the league 10 years and I’ve been here five months. That’s how it’s going to go. I’m the best. I’m not going to say that another man that plays the same position… and say he’s better than me? I can’t do that.”

Milliner, who turns 23 in September, earned Defensive Rookie of the Month honors in December, finishing his rookie campaign with 56 tackles, three interceptions and 17 passes defensed.
