The Houston Texans have signed wide receiver Joe Adams and offensive tackle Brice Schwab, John McClain of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Adams played at Arkansas and was the Panthers' fourth-round pick in 2012. The 24-year-old played for Edmonton in the CFL this year.

Adams also returns kicks.

The Texans placed wide receiver Alan Bonner on injured reserve last week with a broken foot.

Schwab played at Arizona State, and has spent time on both the Tampa Bay and New England practice squads.
