Raiders free safety Charles Woodson said it would be "devastating" for Oakland if the team moved, CSN Bay Area's Scott Bair reports.

The Raiders' lease at their current home, O.co Coliseum, expires at the end of the 2014 season, and they have not asked for an extension to the deal. Last week, owner Mark Davis said  the team would "be well received" if it returned to Los Angeles, where it played from 1982-1994.

San Antonio is also a rumored landing spot after Davis and other members of the front office visited the city last month.

Woodson, who is in his second stint with the team, said there would be no returning if the team left the city again.

“I think it’d be devastating,” Woodson said. “It’s happened once before and a lot of people are still bitter about that, and I think it would be doubling down on that bitterness if they were to leave again. I think it’d be tough for the City of Oakland.”
