The Miami Dolphins front office has hired former quarterback Dan Marino.

Former quarterback Dan Marino has accepted a front office job with the Miami Dolphins. The news was first reported by NBC 6 in Miami and later confirmed by Marino over Twitter.

Marino spent all 17 years of his professional career with Miami, where he racked up numerous passing records and led the Dolphins to ten playoff appearances. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2005.

Marino will reportedly serve in a special adviser role to owner Stephen Ross and C.E.O. Tom Garfinkel.
