Saints cornerback Champ Bailey was cut on Saturday as the team trimmed its roster to 53 players, according to NFL Network reporter Albert Breer.  The NFL deadline for teams to announce their regular season roster was 4 p.m. Saturday.

It's unclear at this point whether other teams will look to sign the veteran cornerback or if this will spell the end of the road for Bailey.
