The New York Jets went 8-8 and finished in second place in the AFC East last season but missed the playoffs.

This offseason, they drafted former Louisville safety Calvin Pryor in the first round, former Texas Tech tight end Jace Amaro in the second round and former Maryland cornerback Dexter McDougle in the third round. The Jets also made several notable offseason additions, including quarterback Michael Vick, running back Chris Johnson and wide receiver Eric Decker.

The Jets' have the NFL's ninth hardest schedule based on opponents' 2013 winning percentage. They face three road games against playoff teams from last season over the first seven weeks. After their week 11 bye, the Jets play four of their final six games on the road.
