Last season, the Colts upset the Broncos 39-33 in Indianapolis to hand Denver its first loss of the season. This year, Peyton Manning will host his former team -- the Colts -- when Indianapolis travels to Denver for the first Sunday Night Football game of the season.

The Cowboys are scheduled to appear on Sunday Night Football three times this season, two of which are road games against NFC East opponents. The Patriots will also play three Sunday night games.

The NFL's Sunday Night Football schedule is subject to change due to flex scheduling. Games between Weeks 5 through 17 can be flexed, although restrictions are in place to limit the number of games that are subject to flex scheduling. For Week 17, the NFL can schedule a Sunday night game as late as six days prior to kickoff.
