Chargers running back Ryan Mathews was carted off the field with a knee injury in Sunday's 30-21 win over the Seahawks in San Diego.

He did not re-enter the game despite the team announcing that he was questionable to return.

Mathews was injured early in the fourth quarter recovering his own fumble, his second of the day. He had 31 yards on 11 carries and two receptions for 26 yards.

The 26-year-old, who is in his fifth season with the Chargers, has missed 10 regular-season games in his career. He entered Sunday with 3,771 career rushing yards to go with 1,061 receiving yards and 22 touchdowns.
