Jaguars' Johnson to make NFL debut vs Steelers

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) Jacksonville Jaguars rookie running back Storm Johnson will make his NFL debut Sunday against Pittsburgh.

Johnson is active and will share snaps with Toby Gerhart and Denard Robinson. A seventh-round draft pick from UCF, Johnson has been slowed by an ankle injury.

Jacksonville hopes Johnson can bolster one of the league's worst rushing attacks.

Linebacker Jeremiah George, guard Tyler Shatley, offensive tackle Josh Wells, receiver Tavarres King are healthy scratches for Jacksonville. The Jaguars are without receiver Cecil Shorts III (hamstring), cornerback Dwayne Gratz (concussion) and receiver Marqise Lee (hamstring). All three were ruled out Friday.

The Steelers previously ruled out linebacker Ryan Shazier (knee) and cornerback Ike Taylor (forearm).

Also inactive for Pittsburgh: quarterback Landry Jones, receiver Martavis Bryant, defensive lineman Daniel McCullers and offensive lineman Wesley Johnson and Chris Hubbard.
