Cleveland Browns cornerback Joe Haden missed practice for a second straight day because of a hip injury and his status for Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers is unknown.

Haden was injured in the second half of last week’s win against the Tennessee Titans. Haden was relegated to the stationary bike while his teammates practiced on Thursday.

Browns head coach Mike Pettine said that he is “cautiously optimistic” that Haden will play in the rematch against the Steelers. Pittsburgh won the first matchup 30-27 in Week 1.

"We're playing it slow, so we'll see,” Pettine said, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer. "We won't have any real good information on that until tomorrow.”

Haden, linebacker Paul Kruger (back), wide receiver Rodney Smith (hamstring) and defensive lineman Billy Winn (quad) did not practice on Thursday.
