Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt was the most mentioned NFL player on Twitter during Week 6, Twitter data shows

The week spans from Thursday, Oct. 9 through Monday, Oct. 13.

Watt and the Texans lost to the Indianapolis Colts, 33-28, but Watt had seven tackles, two sacks and a fumble return for a touchdown in the fourth quarter which brought the deficit to five.

The Giants' Victor Cruz, Packers' Aaron Rodgers and Cowboys' DeMarco Murray and Tony Romo rounded out the Top 5 most mentioned players, respectively. Cruz tore his patellar tendon in the Giants' loss to the Eagles and is out for the season. 

The Dallas Cowboys were the most mentioned team account in Week 6, followed by the Eagles and Seattle Seahawks.

The Cowboys' 30-23 victory over the Seahawks was the most mentioned game of the week.

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was the most mentioned NFL player during Week 5.
