Bengals WR A.J. Green is expected to sit Sunday against the Ravens due to lingering ligament damage in his left toe, reports the NFL Network's Albert Breer. Earlier this week, Bengals coach Marvin Lewis said Green had "made significant progress."

Green, a three-time Pro Bowler, sustained the injury during the Bengals Week 2 win over Atlanta. He re-aggravated the toe during Week 5 and has missed the last two games, including 16 days of practice.

Green was selected fourth overall by Cincinnati in the 2011 NFL Draft. He has 17 receptions for 314 yards and two touchdowns in four games this season. In 2013, he finished with 98 receptions for 1,426 yards and 11 touchdowns.

The Bengals have gone 0-2-1 since a 3-0 start and are now second place in the AFC North.
