Cameron, Gipson not practicing for Browns

BEREA, Ohio (AP) Browns starting safety Tashaun Gipson, the NFL's interceptions leader, is being evaluated for a concussion.

Coach Mike Pettine said Gipson returned from Cleveland's break after a 24-3 win on Thursday night in Cincinnati complaining of headaches.

''He thinks it was something that occurred in the game,'' Pettine said after Monday's practice, ''so we're just going to follow the league's protocol and have him evaluated. We'll have more information tomorrow.''

Gipson, who leads the league with six interceptions, was kept out of practice along with Pro Bowl tight end Jordan Cameron, who continues to recover from a concussion.

Cameron took a shot to the back of his head in Cleveland's win over Oakland on Oct. 26. He has missed the past two games and has been following the NFL's procedures on head injuries after getting his third concussion in three seasons. Cameron caught 80 passes last season and is in the final year of his contract

Starting wide receiver Andrew Hawkins (leg) and center Nick McDonald (calf) rode stationary bikes during the portion of practice open to media members. Safety Johnson Bademosi also remains sidelined with a concussion.
