The Dallas Cowboys will try to win for the fourth time in as many meetings with the New York Giants when they square off in the Week 12 Sunday Night Football game. The Cowboys are 8-0 against the spread in their last eight games off a bye week while the Giants will be looking to break a five-game losing streak both straight-up and vs. the line in this NFC East matchup as 3.5-point home underdogs.

Dallas ended its two-game skid before the bye with a 31-17 victory against the Jacksonville Jaguars in London as a 7-point favorite at sportsbooks monitored by Tony Romo returned to the lineup for the Cowboys after sitting out their 28-17 loss to the Arizona Cardinals due to a back injury, and he delivered with 246 passing yards and three touchdowns. Two of those touchdown passes went to wide receiver Dez Bryant, who had 158 yards on six catches, and running back DeMarco Murray also finished with 100 yards on the ground for the ninth time in 10 games.

New York fell at home to the San Francisco 49ers 16-10 last week, with the closing NFL betting lines showing the team as a 3.5-point underdog.  Giants QB Eli Manning threw a season-high five interceptions in the loss, but they got RB Rashad Jennings back from a knee injury. Jennings rushed for 59 yards on 18 carries after missing the previous four games and kept the chains moving in a defensive battle that saw the total go UNDER for the first time in four games. Despite Manning’s struggles, they still had multiple chances to not only cover the spread but also win the game.

Bettors who have followed this Dallas-New York matchup know they can expect a high-scoring game. The OVER is 9-2 in the last 11 meetings, cashing in each of the past four. The OVER is also 7-2 in the last nine games after a bye week for the Cowboys and 3-1 in their past four as road favorites. In addition, the OVER is 6-2 in the last eight games for the Giants as home underdogs and 3-1 in their past four against divisional opponents at MetLife Stadium according to the OddsShark NFL Database.
