Hilton made it to the hospital for the birth, but said he wanted to play in the game and catch a touchdown pass for his daughter, according to his agent Erik Burkhardt.

In the third quarter, Hilton caught a 73-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Andrew Luck. He celebrated in the end zone by cradling the football.

From NFL.com:

Hilton was sleeping at the team hotel when his wife went into labor and they couldn't get ahold of him, Burkhardt said, per NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport. Hilton's best friend, Peter Riley, raced to the team hotel, banged on the door and then raced Hilton to the hospital where he made it just in time.

After the game, Hilton was overwhelmed by emotion when discussing his daughter.

Hilton, who was selected in the third round of the 2012 NFL draft by the Colts, has 59 catches for 961 yards and three touchdowns this season.
