JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) The Jacksonville Jaguars are without rookie defensive end Chris Smith against the New York Giants.

Smith, who had a sack last week at Indianapolis, is one of the inactive players for Sunday's game. With veteran Andre Branch returning from a four-game absence because of a groin injury, Smith is a healthy scratch.

The Jaguars also are without linebacker Jeremiah George (ankle), cornerback Jeremy Harris, cornerback Teddy Williams, running back Storm Johnson, guard Tyler Shatley and offensive tackle Sam Young.

The injury-ravaged Giants are without defensive end Mathias Kiwanuka, defensive tackle Cullen Jenkins, linebacker Jacquian Williams, guard Adam Snyder, cornerback Jayron Hosley and offensive linemen Justin Pugh and Brandon Mosley. Jenkins (calf), Kiwanuka (knee), Snyder (knee) and Williams (concussion, shoulder) did not travel to Jacksonville.
