Cleveland Browns receiver Miles Austin was hospitalized after suffering a kidney injury in Sunday's 26-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills, reports the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

According to the report, Austin complained of abdominal pain after the game. The team said that Austin was taken to Erie County Medical Center as a precaution and was to remain there on Sunday night.

Austin, who is in his first season with the Browns, played the majority of the game and caught seven passes on nine targets for 86 yards.

Austin spoke with reporters after the game and did not mention the injury, but instead talked about the team’s struggles in the passing game.

Austin has 47 catches for 568 yards and two touchdowns this season for Cleveland (7-5), which is tied with the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens for second place in the AFC North. The Browns take on the Indianapolis Colts next Sunday.
