Panthers' running back Williams sidelined again

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) Panthers coach Ron Rivera says running back DeAngelo Williams will miss Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints with a broken bone in his hand.

It will be the seventh game this season the 31-year-old running back has missed due to injuries.

The franchise's all-time leading rusher missed four games with an ankle injury and two with a thigh issue and has been limited to 219 yards rushing on 38 carries with no touchdowns.

Jonathan Stewart, who ran for a season-high 85 yards on 12 carries last week against Minnesota, will get the start. Fozzy Whittaker is also expected to see action.

Offensive lineman Amini Silatolu (knee) is also out, but Rivera expects tight end Greg Olsen to play after missing some practice time with swelling in his knee.
