A spokesman for the Houston Police Department told the Tennessean on Monday that a 37-year-old woman contacted Houston police on Dec. 3 to say she was sexually assaulted in an Atlanta hotel room. Since the alleged incident took place in another jurisdiction, the department took out a "courtesy report."
The report was handed over to the Atlanta Police department, who released the following statement:
"The Atlanta Police Dept. has been contacted by a female who advised she was sexually assaulted by Sammie Hill, who is a NFL player. We are working with the female to obtain information about this incident. At this time, the report is not available."
Hill, 28, has started 12 games for the Titans this season. He has 25 tackles, two sacks and five passes defended.
