The Lions have placed tight end Joseph Fauria on injured reserve, the team announced Wednesday.

Fauria re-aggravated an earlier ankle injury in Sunday's victory over the Buccaneers. Fauria missed six games earlier this season after hurt himself at home, trying to stop his dog from peeing in the house

Fauria started all six games he played in this season. He caught six passes for 74 yards and a touchdown. As a rookie last season Fauria had 18 catches, seven of which were touchdowns.
