LBs Jenkins, Misi inactive for Dolphins

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) Starting linebackers Jelani Jenkins and Koa Misi are inactive for the Miami Dolphins against the New England Patriots.

Jenkins is Miami's leading tackler but has a foot injury, while Misi has hamstring and knee problems.

Patriots defensive end Chandler Jones and linebacker Dont'a Hightower are active Sunday after missing time with injuries. Jones led the Patriots in sacks before being sidelined for six games with a hip injury. Hightower missed one game with a shoulder injury.

The Patriots' inactive players are defensive linemen Dominique Easley and Zach Moore, cornerback Alfonzo Dennard, linebacker Chris White, running back James White and offensive linemen Jordan Devey and Cameron Fleming.

Also inactive for the Dolphins are running back LaMichael James, linebackers Jonathan Freeny and Chris McCain and guards Nate Garner and Billy Turner.
