Peyton Manning plans to return to Broncos next season
Quarterback Peyton Manning told reporters Wednesday that he plans to return to the Denver Broncos next season, according to TheDenver Post.
Manning, who will turn 39 in March, said he has no plans to retire and is focusing on the Oakland Raiders, who the Broncos play in their regular season finale on Sunday.
"I certainly plan on being back if the Broncos will have me," Manning said. "At this point, I’m thinking about Oakland. I know this is the time when there are conversations about what coaches are going to return. For some reason I guess I get to fall into that category because maybe I’m closer to the same age as some of the coaches. But I have no plans along those lines. I’m enjoying playing and looking forward to Sunday’s game and the game to follow that."

Manning leads the league in touchdown passes this season with 39 and threw his 500th career touchdown in October. He has completed 66.8 percent of his passes and thrown for 4,454 yards and 15 interceptions, the latter of which is the most since he threw 17 while with the Colts in 2010.
On Tuesday, Manning was named to his 14th career Pro Bowl. The reigning NFL MVP has two more years remaining on his contract.
