The New York Jets will interview Houston Texans director of college scouting Mike Maccagnan for a second time for the team's vacant general manager position, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports.

Maccagnan interviewed with Jets owner Woody Johnson and consultants Charley Casserly and Ron Wolf on Monday. He is the first candidate to receive a second interview, according to Schefter.

Maccagnan has been Houston's director of college scouting since 2011 and has been with the organization since 2000. He was also a scout for the Washington Redskins for six seasons before joining the Texans.
