Ravens receiver Steve Smith passes 1,000 career playoff receiving yards

After catching a touchdown pass from Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco, receiver Steve Smith has more than 1,000 career receiving yards in the playoffs.

According to Pro Football Reference, Smith is now 13th in NFL playoff history. Hall of Fame receiver Jerry Rice holds the record with 2,245 receiving yards in the playoffs.

Smith has played in 11 postseason games, nine of which came with the Carolina Panthers. He has nine playoff touchdowns.

 2014-15 NFL playoff schedule

During the 2014-15 regular season, Smith had 79 catches for 1,065 yards and six touchdowns. He played in all 16 of the Ravens' games.

Smith signed a three-year deal with the Ravens this spring. He had played his previous 13 seasons with Carolina, but was cut by the team in March.
