After the New England Patriots pulled out a thrilling 28-24 win in Super Bowl XLIX, Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman said he was "a little bit surprised" by the Seahawks' final offensive play call.
Sherman on the play call: "I'm a little bit surprised. It was an unfortunate play.''— Bob Condotta (@bcondotta) February 2, 2015
Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch had rushed 24 times for 102 yards and one touchdown.
Sherman was credited with three tackles in the game. He was also quick to congratulate Brady on the field once the game was in hand for the Patriots.
