According toThe New York Times, Goodell's base salary is $3.5 million, and he received a $31.1 million bonus.
Atlanta Falcons owner Arthur Blank said in a statement that the league's compensation committee, of which he is a member, will ''conduct a thoughtful review and make a determination of 2014 compensation in March.''
The $35 million is less than the $44.2 million he made in 2012, which included $9 million in deferred payment.
