Colts' Ahmad Bradshaw pleads not guilty to marijuana charge
Indianapolis Colts running back Ahmad Bradshaw has pleaded not guilty to a marijuana possession charge, according to the Associated Press.
Bradshaw was stopped for a traffic violation in western Ohio last week and was charged with a misdemeanor count of possession of a small amount of marijuana and with following too closely behind another vehicle, according to the AP.
An attorney filed the plea for Bradshaw on Tuesday, according to the AP, and a pretrial hearing is set for Feb. 25.
Bradshaw played for the New York Giants for six seasons before being released and signing with the Colts in June 2013. In two seasons with Indianapolis, he has been limited to 13 games after undergoing neck surgery in 2013 and sustaining a fractured fibula last November.
In 10 games last season, the 28-year-old rushed for 425 yards and two touchdowns. He also had 300 receiving yards and caught six touchdowns.
Bradshaw won two Super Bowls while in New York and was the leading rusher in both Super Bowl games.
