Report: Eagles re-sign QB Mark Sanchez to two-year deal
The Philadelphia Eagles will re-sign quarterback Mark Sanchez to a two-year deal, reports ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Sanchez's deal will reportedly have a maximum value of $16 million and $5.5 million guaranteed.

[daily_cut.nfl]Sanchez, 28, spent last season with the Eagles after five with the New York Jets. He appeared in nine games for the Eagles, completing 64.1 percent of his passes for 2,418 yards, 14 touchdowns and 11 interceptions.
Though he appeared in only nine games, the 64.1 percent completion rate was the best of Sanchez's career.
The Jets selected Sanchez fifth overall in the 2009 NFL draft and reached the AFC conference championship in each of his first two seasons. But after winning 20 games over those two seasons, the Jets failed to eclipse eight wins in the subsequent three seasons. Sanchez suffered a shoulder injury during the 2013 preseason that kept him out for his final year with the Jets, who released him last March.

With the window to begin negotiating with free agents opening this weekend, the Eagles reportedly signed running back Frank Gore and cornerback Byron Maxwell. Last week, the Eagles also cut long-time linebacker Trent Cole and traded running back LeSean McCoy to the Buffalo Bills for linebacker Kiko Alonso.
