The 35-year-old was signed by the Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of Maryland in 2002. He spent one season in Minnesota before playing in Europe, returning to the NFL in 2006 with the San Francisco 49ers. He spent three seasons there and four with the Detroit Lions before landing with St. Louis.
