The Green Bay Packers have matched the Oakland Raiders’ one-year, $2.55 million offer to safety Sean Richardson, Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reports.

Richardson, 25, had 25 combined tackles last season for the Packers. In three seasons with Green Bay, he has not recorded an interception.

Richardson went undrafted in 2012 before signing with the Packers.

Last season, Green Bay finished No. 10 in passing yards allowed.

This offseason, the Packers released linebacker A.J. Hawk and lost cornerback Davon House to the Jaguars in free agency. Green Bay also re-signed wide receiver Randall Cobb to a four-year, $40 million contract.
