Report: Vikings will keep Peterson if he is not traded before end of draft
Adrian Peterson will remain with the Minnesota Vikings if he is not traded before the end of the upcoming NFL draft, Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Pressreports.
"If he's not traded next week, they're going to keep him," a source told Tomasson.
Peterson, 30, was reinstated from his indefinite suspension last week. He had been suspended in November after pleading no contest to a count of misdemeanor reckless assault in Texas. He had been indicted on child abuse charges for allegedly hitting his four-year-old son with a switch.

There has been much speculation this off-season as to whether Peterson will play for the Vikings next season. General manager Rick Spielman and owner Mark Wilf have said they would like Peterson back with the team. Peterson's agent, Ben Dogra, reportedly had a "heated exchange" with Vikings executive Rob Brzezinski at the NFL combine in February. Dogra also said in March that he doesn't "think it's in [Peterson's] best interests" to remain in Minnesota.
Tomasson's source said the Arizona Cardinals, Atlanta Falcons, Dallas Cowboys, Jacksonville Jaguars, San Diego Chargers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are interested in Peterson.
