The New Orleans Saints have nine selections in the 2015 NFL draft, including two picks in Thursday night's first round.

New Orleans finished 7-9 last season and missed the playoffs, despite having the league's third-ranked offense. But the problem was on the other side of the ball, where the Saints ranked next-to-last in total defense, giving up almost 27 points per game.

The Saints acquired the second of their first-round picks in a trade with the Seahawks. New Orleans sent Pro Bowl tight end Jimmy Graham and a fourth-round pick to Seattle for center Max Unger and the No. 31 pick.

In the off-season, the team re-signed Pro Bowl guard Jahri Evans. The Saints also signed versatile running back C.J. Spiller as well as cornerbacks Brandon Browner and Kyle Wilson.

Below are the selections New Orleans has entering the draft:

Round 1, Pick 13 (13th overall)

Round 1, Pick 31 (31st overall)

Round 2, Pick 12 (44th overall)

Round 3, Pick 11 (75th overall)

Round 3, Pick 14 (78th overall)

Round 5, Pick 12 (148th overall)

Round 5, Pick 18 (154th overall)

Round 6, Pick 11 (187th overall)

Round 7, Pick 13 (230th overall)
