The Oakland Raiders will pluck seven names off of the big board at this year's NFL draft, including the fourth overall selection when the three-day event kicks off in Chicago on Thursday.
The Raiders finished 3-13 last season, a mark that tied for the third-worst record in the league. But with plenty of cap space available this off-season, Oakland signed several notable free agents.
The team's acquisitions included center Rodney Hudson, who signed a five-year, $44.5 million contract in March. Super Bowl XLVIII MVP Malcolm Smith signed a two-year deal with the team, as did quarterback Christian Ponder and running back Trent Richardson.
The Raiders are thought to be targeting a wide receiver with their fourth overall pick. Alabama's Amari Cooper or West Virginia WR Kevin White are two possibilities for Oakland.
Below are the selections Oakland is slated to make in the draft:
Round 1, Pick 4 (4th overall)
Round 2, Pick 3 (35th overall)
Round 3, Pick 4 (68th overall)
Round 4, Pick 3 (102nd overall)
Round 5, Pick 4 (140th overall)
Round 6, Pick 3 (179th overall)
Round 7, Pick 4 (221st overall)
