Bills draft nation's top tight end, Florida State's O'Leary

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) The Buffalo Bills have selected Florida State's Nick O'Leary, who was the nation's top tight end last season.

At 6-foot-3 and 247 pounds, O'Leary was selected 194th overall with the second of Buffalo's two sixth-round picks Saturday. He became the first Florida State player to win the John Mackey Award after finishing second on the Seminoles with 48 catches for 618 yards and six touchdowns last season.

In four seasons, he set the school career record among tight ends with 114 catches for 1,591 yards and 18 touchdowns.

O'Leary is from Palm Beach, Florida, and the grandson of golfer Jack Nicklaus.

Seminoles players became a popular pick for the Bills this weekend. They also drafted FSU cornerback Ronald Darby in the second round and running back Karlos Williams in the fifth.
