Chargers have only 2 picks in final 4 rounds of NFL draft

SAN DIEGO (AP) The San Diego Chargers will have some long waits during the final day of the NFL draft.

They have only two picks on Saturday, in the fifth and sixth rounds.

''We can go play some golf tomorrow morning before we hit it,'' general manager Tom Telesco cracked.

The Chargers sent their fourth-rounder to San Francisco as part of the deal to move up Thursday and take Wisconsin running back Melvin Gordon with the 15th pick overall. They traded their seventh-rounder to Dallas in 2013 for defensive lineman Sean Lissemore.

''You always look back: What have we done with those other picks?'' Telesco said. ''The players we've gotten, we're really happy with, so, we've got to make our picks work.''
